Kindle Owners’ Lending Library dishes out one free book a month

On Wednesday evening, the Amazon homepage was updated with a message from Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos about a new feature for Amazon Prime members. The Kindle Owners’ Lending Library is a new service for Prime Members that also happen to own Kindles. At no additional cost, interested parties will be able to borrow thousands of books at the rate of one per month with no due dates.

DC graphic novels removed from Barnes & Noble due to Kindle Fire exclusivity

Shortly after the Kindle Fire was announced, DC Comics said it would be bringing digital versions of more than 100 of its comics to the tablet as part of an exclusive deal. Barnes & Noble hasn’t taken kindly to this announcement, and are refusing to sell DC Comics graphic novels in its stores.
