Google gets a +1 button
Google is experimenting with a new feature it’s calling +1. If you’re familiar with Facebook likes, you’ll feel right at home with +1. Google’s purpose for this feature is to help searchers find the best pages based on recommendations. Whenever you click the +1 button in a search result, Google will add it to a global list of other +1 recommendations. +1 also shows you site recommendations from your personal contacts that are connected to you through Google.
Hulu rolls out “Hulu Labs” including desktop application for Windows and Mac
Google’s got its labs, and now so does Hulu. Welcome to Hulu’s not-quite-ready products. First off is software called “Hulu Desktop” that lets you watch Hulu video using your Apple or Windows Media remotes. It allows for full screen viewing and has quite the snazzy interface.
