It seems that the idea of a flashlight with a built-in digital video recorder may be catching on, just recently we saw the Japanese made AD-1500, which looks strikingly similar to this latest model, however this one is the FlashlightDVR and is being offered up by Swann Communications.

The FlashlightDVR is a working flashlight that also includes a working video camera. The flashlight has about 128MB worth of internal memory, and has an SD card slot for additional memory. The video records in MPEG-4 format, and an SD card that will hold 3 hours worth of video at 30 fps, in full VGA resolution.

A Japanese accessory manufacturer has added a unique twist on an ordinary household gadget, the flashlight. They have added a 300,000 pixel CMOS camera and microphone.
