Kindle Format 8 promises to make you love your e-books even more
Kindle e-books are going to get a lot more attractive thanks to Kindle Format 8. Kindle Format 8 is the successor to the Mobi 7 format, and adds a boatload of new features that will help publishers give their books that extra pop. Amazon highlights children’s books, graphic novels and cookbooks as some of the products that will benefit from Kindle Format 8 the most thanks to over 150 new formatting options. Only the Kindle Fire will be able to take advantage of KF8 at first. Amazon will bring support for Kindle apps and the latest Kindles in the months to come.

Panasonic makes a move for 3D Blu-ray
It is widely known that the future of Blu-ray is in 3D and a feasible idea for this was shown by Panasonic at the CEATEC show in Japan although it was pre-production. However they have now made a bid to be king of this future market with a proposal to the BDA (Blu-ray Disc Association) regarding a way of producing two way (left and right eye) full High Definition discs.
