G1 users to receive Android 1.5 update starting next week
A lot of news has been circulating about the update (a.k.a. Cupcake) to the Android OS, which the T-Mobile G1 runs on, and it is ready for showtime. Word has just been announced from T-Mobile that the G1 will begin receiving the over-the-air update starting at the end of next week.
Since many people own the G1 in the United States, it will take the rest of May for all users to receive the update, so don’t get frustrated and begin calling customer support if your update takes longer than expected.
