G1 users to receive Android 1.5 update starting next week

A lot of news has been circulating about the update (a.k.a. Cupcake) to the Android OS, which the T-Mobile G1 runs on, and it is ready for showtime. Word has just been announced from T-Mobile that the G1 will begin receiving the over-the-air update starting at the end of next week.
