LG’s take on an iPhone killer: LG LH2300 Touch Web phone
Although it might be a bit late, LG believes it’s better than never, and offers a touch screen equipped web browsing-centric phone called the LG LH2300 Touch Web phone for the Korea market. The name actually says it all. “Touch” as in it has a 3-inch, 800 x 480 pixel, 26 million color, touch sensitive display that’s produced by Sharp. “Web” as in it should offer unparalleled web browsing experience on a handheld, as if that wasn’t thought of before. And “phone”, as in it’s a regular mobile phone that you can use to send short text messages and make choppy voice calls. It’s slated for an April 2008 release and will cost around $600 USD. But again, like I said in the beginning, this will only be available in Korea. For now, at least.
