The latest collaboration between two renowned brands, Acer and Seagate, has produced an outstanding improvement in notebook hard disk capacity, up to 500GB for new Acer laptops. I, for one, am glad that Seagate has managed to meet the increasing demand for higher hard disk capacity on laptops. Fujitsu announces world’s first 320GB 7200RPM 2.5-inch hard drive
Fujitsu has upped the ante on hard disk capacity and speed manufacturing with its newly announced MHZ2 BJ series 2.5-inch hard drive. According to Fujitsu, the MHZ2 BJ series sports 320GB of storage and spins at a whopping 7200RPM. In simple terms, it’s a fast reading, high storage hard drive for your laptop.
Fujitsu launches 500GB 2.5-inch hard drive
To answer the increasing demand for high-volume data storage, Fujitsu Limited has unveiled its new series of MHZ2 BT 2.5-inch hard disk drives with storage capacity of 500 gigabytes.
The company claims MHZ2 BT is also an environmentally friendly product and a power-efficient hard disk drive since it only consumes 1.8 W of power to execute read and write operations. It is intended for use in PCs, set top boxes, digital video recorders (DVR) and external hard drive applications.
