Virgin America announced it will be the first airline to offer Gogo Wireless’ new ATG-4 service. Gogo says the new service is up to four times faster than its current service and uses EV-DO Rev. Last year for the holidays Google offered free in-flight WiFi to travelers on domestic Virgin America flights. This year Google is offering the same deal, but to a few more airlines. Aircell just got two big thumbs up from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) in regards to their in-flight Wi-Fi service.
