Google+ invites were at one time a bit of digital treasure. Tons of people wanted to get an invite and would even resort to eBay to get one. These days, Google+ invites are always available for anyone to share. At this time, you have to know the email address of the person you want to give a G+ invite to. In the very near future, you’ll be able to share invites though a simple link.

Just about everyone seems to be jumping with excitement over the launch of Spotify in the United States. It’s still in the invite-only phase, which should do nothing but increase demand even further. Google officially unveiled their Music Beta service during the I/O conference and sadly for most — it launched as an invitation only service.
