Apple has conned over a million people to watch its video on last weeks SDK announcement.Ok, maybe “cons” is a bit harsh. Apples video was up after most of us had already written about it and spilled the beans on what the video held. But that didn’t stop the 1 million plus see Steve and Co. talk about the SDK for themselves. Judging from the numbers, the iPhone is still gaining fans. Can anyone duplicate the enthusiasm Apple has built here? Like me, I am sure you’ve read all about yesterday’s Apple event. Perusing the forums this morning and it feels a bit like Christmas, doesn’t it?

Apple over delivered on a promise they under sold. Originally an SDK was a no go. Then, Steve gave it some thought and built something amazing and amazingly simple at the same time: a way to get applications through them to the public all while maintaining control. How excited are the developers? I think the SKD download server crashes says it all.
