Leapfrog introduces “Baby BlackBerry”
First there was the well known E*Trade commercial with the talking baby bragging about how his BlackBerry keeps him connected, now some say educational toy company Leapfrog has taken the skit a bit farther with its new Text and Learn toy, which many are calling the “Baby BlackBerry.”
It’s not hard to see why as it does look like a brightly colored version of the popular smartphone. Along with the usual educational games meant to teach spelling, the toy also offers a built in calendar the company says is meant to teach kids the days of the month, a “pretend” web browser, and yes, even the ability to send text messages to a puppy “guide” named Scout.

Much like cartoons, most gadgets and videogames are really not meant for kids.
