Facebook enlists Websense to protect users against harmful links
Scammers have been notorious for using Facebook as a way to lure users to sites that may contain software that will take over your computer or compromise your personal data. New scams appear everyday, but the most popular ones are usually tied in to some kind of celebrity such as death photos or sex tapes. Facebook has tried to protect against scams like this, but has fallen short. Therefore, it has asked Websense to provide added protection.
