Remember the SPINN that iriver has been teasing us with since CES? Well, iriver has finally released some information about the Spinn, most notably that it will be available in the United States by October 3rd for under $300.
Cowon intro’s the S9 Curve, O2, L3 touchscreen PMP’s
Cowon has announced three new portable media players to its line-up, the S9 Curve, O2 and L3. All three portable media player’s sport a touchscreen feature but each have their distinct individual features to distinguish one from another. Here’s a quick rundown of what we can expect from each of these PMP’s.
First we have the S9 Curve which is said to be Cowon’s first narrow-format touchscreen player. It also boasts of being the first Cowon PMP that uses the active matrix OLED or AMOLED touchscreen display. The S9 Curve plays both audio and video files and also acts as a T-DMB tuner for live digital TV plus it also comes with an FM Radio tuner. Other features of the S9 Curve include a 3.3-inch display, accelerometer and a dual-core processor. It can also max out up to 40 hours of usage time when listening to music.

Creative outs the 2GB, 4GB ZEN Mozaic media players in the US
Like we said, it was just a matter of time before Creative would make its new media player, the artsy-looking Zen Mozaic available in the US market. Creative now has two models of the Zen Mozaic on its website with a notation that says “In Stock (Available for Shipment).” These are the 2GB and 4GB Zen Mozaic media players with retail prices of $59.99 and $79.99 respectively.
If you’re eyeing the oddly-designed media player, here’s what you’ll get for your bucks; a 1.8-inch TFT color display, 36 hours of continuous audio playback, 5 hours of continuous video playback, an FM radio, 8 preset equalizer settings, voice recording feature, USB 2.0 connectivity and support for album art.
