Nokia’s N900 Internet tablet specs, image leaked
We have what appears to be a legitimate set of specs along with an image of the upcoming Nokia N900 Internet tablet. The device, which will be the successor to the current N810 is going by the code name of Rover and appears to be a solid offering — that is assuming these specs are accurate.
Anyway, you can see the image, off to the right. However, in this case it is the specs that deserve a little more attention. The N900, or Rover is being rumored to have a 3.5-inch 800×480 (WVGA) touchscreen, OMAP3430 500/600 Mhz processor, 1GB total virtual runtime memory, 32GB internal storage, expandable up to 48GB via external memoryand a 5.0 MP Carl Zeiss camera with dual-LED flash, auto-focus and sliding cover.
Gadgetell Deal of the Day: Nokia N810 Internet Tablet on sale 44% off
While searching the web for some cool tech deals, I came across the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet on sale for 44% off the list price of $399.95, making it on sale for only $219.
In case you’re not sure what exactly the N810 is, I’ll give a quick recap of some of the cool specs it has. First off, it comes with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, great for quick IMs and e-mails. In addition to full Internet connection via WiFi and Bluetooth 2.0 technology, it also comes with GPS, and the ability to play music and videos. It also comes with a 4.1 inch touchscreen, with a 800 x 400 resolution, 2GB of onboard memory that is expandable to 10GB.
Nokia N810 gets price cut, now just $299
While the price drop does not seem to be available at every online retailer, at least one, namely CompUSA has dropped the price of the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet down to just $299.99. Nokia’s WiMAX enabled N810 gets the FCC treatment
Sure, we have all most likely seen Nokia’s N810 WiMAX Edition by now, and while it looks nice and shiny on the outside, its always fun to see just what the guts look like. HAVA player now available for Nokia Internet tablets
While the Nokia N810 WiMAX Internet Tablet remains pretty useless, with the announced delay of Sprint’s WiMAX service roll-out, here comes something else that’ll help you put that sorry device to good use. You see, the HAVA HD streamer, a lesser known app than Slingbox in the portable TV category, is now available for Nokia’s Internet Tablet PCs. Yes, and that even includes the old models. This announcement was officially made by Monsoon, the company who makes the HAVA HD streamer, during CTIA Wireless 2008. An early version of the HAVA player was tested by folks from Internet Tablet Talk, and they conclude that the portable version is even better than the PC version.
