NEC Japan rolls out the Lavie C, Lavie J notebooks
NEC Japan has added two new models to its Lavie notebook line, the Lavie C and Lavie J. Both notebooks boast of powerful features topped by a Blu-ray disc player for the Lavie C and a wireless USB-power supply for the Lavie J.
In addition, the NEC Lavie C also features a 16-inch wide LCD screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768. Users can have a choice of packing in their Lavie C notebook with a Centrino 2 processor including the 2.26GHz P8400 chipset. The Lavie C also gets a GeForce 9600 GS with 256MB of VRAM, 2GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n and two 2.5w speakers with MaxxAudio functions.
NEC Announces the NP41, NP61 lightweight digital projectors
NEC has been busy lately with the launch of two new DLP projectors, the NP41 and NP61. You may be wondering why there is only one photo included in this article, and that is because my sources claim that they have the same features. In fact, the Press Release kind of grouped them all together for ease, I guess.
These features include a 1600:1 contrast ratio, XGA 1024 x 728 resolution, BrilliantColor technology, AutoSense, HD compatibility, and ECO Mode Technology. They have 15-pin RGB, RCA, and S-Video input connectors and audio input. They also have some quiet operation at less than 32dB, and they are very lightweight at 3.5 pounds.
