HTC Sensation 4G updated with enhancements and fixes
T-Mobile’s HTC Sensation 4G is getting an update from HTC. The update began rolling out yesterday and will continue until January 15. The update is just under 15MB. It’s not yet known if this update has anything to do with HTC’s pledge to give users an opportunity to opt out of Carrier IQ’s data collection.
HTC update makes Sprint Android devices safe again
In early October, it was discovered that HTC Android phones contained a giant hole in security. In theory, any app that could access the internet also could access personal information such as emails, system information logs, GPS data and other potentially sensitive information users may not want third parties getting a hold of. In response to this, HTC and Sprint have released an over-the-air update that fixes the security flaw on a number of HTC Android devices.
