Facebook wants to convert Instagram users

Facebook is reportedly working on a rival to the popular photo editing and sharing application Instagram. Instead of creating an entirely different application like it did with Facebook Messenger, Facebook will instead incorporate different filters into its main mobile application.

Fun with the cloud: Using Android to share photos with the iPod Touch

The iPhone has a couple of very popular photo editing and sharing applications that you can’t find anywhere else. Take, Instagram and 100 Cameras in 1 for example. If you don’t have an iPhone or 4th generation iPod Touch, these apps can become restrictive. You can still utilize these apps with an older iPod model, but you have to find a way to import photos onto your older iPod Touch to get the most out of them. It’s a shame there aren’t Android versions for either of these apps yet, but you can make the importing process faster by using the cloud.

100 Cameras in 1 upgraded with Instagram support

100 Cameras in 1 for iPhone has been upgraded to version 3.1. This is a pretty big update for the app because it allows photos to be uploaded to Instagram directly from the app. You can also take the photos that have been edited in Instagram (if they’re saved on your phone) and add even more layers of effects to them. Other changes in this update include speed improvements, bug fixes and authorization changes that were recently made mandatory by Twitter.

PhotoShop Express for iOS gets a $3.99 Camera Pack add-on

Adobe has just updated its Photoshop Express app for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. If you’ve downloaded this app before, you’re aware that this app allows you to do some minor edits to your photos. You can also crop, straighten or rotate your photos as well as apply various filters, digital effects or adjust color more »

Canon intro’s the SELPHY ES3, ES30 compact photo printers

Canon has added two new photo printers to its SELPHY line, the ES3 and ES30. Both photo printers stand out from the rest of the SELPHY printer models because of the advanced editing and customization features which Canon has included in both. These include advancements to the frame, clip art and calendar functions of the two printers. But more significantly, the SELPHY ES3 boasts of a new feature which Canon has never done before with any of its previous SELPHY printers, and that is the inclusion of 1GB of internal flash memory.
