Sony’s Vaio CP1 digital photo frame is packed with Wi-Fi, Radio, RSS

It seems like even the most simple digital devices such as a digital photo frame are becoming more sophisticated and highly advanced in terms of features and functionality. Take the case of Sony’s Vaio CP1 digital photo frame. This 7-inch frame not only supports wireless connectivity but is packed with radio tuner and displays real-time RSS feeds as well.

The Vaio CP1 digital photo frame also lets users display photos without transferring them onto the digital photo frames storage but instead streaming them from their PC’s. In addition, the digital frame can connect with Picasa, Google’s photo uploading site, to allow viewing of up to four Picasa web albums. Inversely pictures stored in the digital photo frame can be uploaded directly to the user’s Picasa account even without the need to download the photos to a PC.

JOBO unveils the 15-inch Mirage L digital photo frame

JOBO, a popular digital photo frame manufacturer, is adding a new 15-inch photo frame to its product line dubbed Mirage L digital photo frame. This digital photo frame stands unique from all the other digital photo frames because of its mirror function which you can activate by simply turning off the digital frame. But that’s not all into it though, the Mirage L also comes with 1GB of internal memory which you can use to store around 4,000 photos.

Samsung rolls out four new digital photo frames

Samsung has announced four new digital photo frames, two of them, the SPF-85H and SPF-85V will be available on September 1, while the other two, the SPF-105P and SPF-105V will be on store shelves on October 1.

Both the SPF-85H and SPF-85V digital frames sport an 8-inch screen with an 800 x 600 resolution and support SD/MMC/MS/XD media cards and also have a USB memory slot. In addition, the SPF-85H is packed with a 1GB internal memory, an auto on/off function and auto photo resize. The SPF-85V only packs in 64MB of internal memory but makes up for it with its Wi-Fi connectivity, it also features auto rotation, a rechargeable battery and InfoLink, which is a free information service for news, weather and stock information.
