Verizon Wireless starts its holiday sale, fails to top Amazon Wireless
Verizon announced its holiday sale this week as Black Friday draws closer. Verizon has placed a few smartphones such as the red Droid Incredible 2, Droid 3 and LG Revolution LTE on sale online and in stores from November 24 to November 28. These phones are not free which makes this sale less desirable than what Amazon Wireless is doing right now. Amazon Wireless has every Verizon phone (except the iPhone) on sale for a penny after signing a new contract.
Black Friday 2011: Nook Simple Touch for $79
Barnes & Noble is going after the Kindle Touch with its Black Friday sale. B&N will sell a limited edition Nook Simple Touch in stores for $79. That’s the same price Amazon charges for the current generation Kindle with Special Offers. B&N will continue to sell the Nook Simple Touch at this price until supplies run dry.

It’s Black Friday Week and Amazon has the jump on everybody. That’s just one of the benefits of being an online retailer not tied to circular ads. Droid RAZR selling for a penny through Amazon Wireless
It’s amazing how quickly phones can drop in price. The Droid RAZR, which was just released on November 11 for $299.99, is now selling for a penny from Amazon Wireless.
