HTC closing its Listen music store at the end of October
Owners of the HTC Sensation 4G on T-Mobile are going to find themselves with one less application at the end of October. HTC announced it will be closing its Listen music store on October 31. Everything about the store will cease to exist including any songs you may have purchased. HTC recommends downloading any music purchased from the Listen app because they will all be inaccessible once the store shuts down.
HP: webOS operations will shut down by Q4 2011
One of the biggest stories of the day was the surprise announcement that HP would be shutting down its webOS hardware operations. HP said it would be examining other avenues in which to use webOS software, but there won’t be anymore devices such as the TouchPad or Pre.
