Security breach leaves TiVo and other companies open to spam
On April 1 Epsilon, a marketing company that handles email communications for big clients, announced its email system had been exposed. Unfortunately it wasn’t an April Fools’ joke. Someone believed to be outside of the company managed to obtain customer information in the form of email addresses and names. Epsilon says that no credit card information or anything equally devastating was taken as a result of the breach.
