TeleNav updates Shotgun GPS with key features

TeleNav launched an update today of two key new features in their unique standalone GPS device: Shotgun. The new features bring its Internet connected service to light as the device reaches out and pushes and pulls data that users will find quite useful.

The first new feature is mileage tracking. Many of us are forced to sit behind the wheel for business purposes and as such, submit mileage for reimbursement. TeleNav’s new feature allows users to tap mileage capture on and off and sends the data to their MyTeleNav account where results can be pulled for up to six months and downloaded in Excel or PDF formats. Pretty handy, especially for business travelers.
