This is a phone for someone who doesn’t mind spending around $1,125 for a phone with an operating system that’s about to become irrelevant. The software isn’t the selling point here. The materials that make up the Nokia Oro is second to none. The phone is made up of 18-carat gold with a sapphire crystal as the home key. On the back, the Nokia Oro is made up of premium leather from Scotland. It’s being marketed to people in Europe, Eastern Europe, China and the Middle East. It’ll be released in the third quarter of 2011.
Nokia and Microsoft sign off on joint partnership
