A Sprint store in Indianapolis was burglarized on Friday. The burglary took place just after midnight after two men broke into the store by bashing the front glass door with a rock. When it was all over, the men made off with around $20,000 in various products.

An Apple Store located in the Fashion Mall at Keystone in Indianapolis was broken into on Sunday night. The thieves apparently made off with $39,600 in Apple products including 17 iPhones, 14 iPads and 18 Macbooks.

To heck with the high-tech problems associated with going through all the trouble of installing a card reader and hidden camera over an ATM to steal from Joe Public. These guys took the old-fashioned approach — brute force.

I can just hear it. “Hey Bubba. What say we go down into that big ole city over yonder and break us out some of them there money machines?” (Followed by a large belch and some scratching). It really doesn’t look like a whole lot of brain cells were put into use for this robbery.

An Apple Store employee whose apartment she was sharing with two roommates was recently victimized by burglars, however they had a happy ending thanks to the help of her stolen Mac’s screen sharing feature and built-in webcam.

After the house was burglarized by thieves, the Apple Store employee received a call from a friend asking if she was online, since it appears that she is online on her friend’s computer. The victim immediately logged on to the Internet and used the Back-to-My-Mac program and found out that her Mac was indeed connected to the Internet. Not wasting any time, the victim quickly activated her Mac’s built-in webcam and the screen sharing feature in order to take a snapshot of the thief who was currently using her notebook. The victim’s friend recognized the man in the picture as someone who had been at her apartment during the recent get together.
