Crazy-awesome Twitter hacks

God, I wish I were smarter. There are some freaky-deaky cool folks hacking everyday things to alert you via Twitter. Here are just two over the past few weeks that have caught my attention and make me wish I had the capacity to learn to code.

Up first, the thing Maytag and gang (which would be a cool band name according to Editor Iyaz) ought to be paying attention to: the Tweeting washing machine. I work 20 feet from my washing machine but never remember to check it. TiVo programmer Ryan Rose adapted his washing machine to Tweet when it was done doing its thing. Awesome and so freaking simple.
