UPDATE: Gmail IMAP fixed for Windows Mobile
Google quietly listed this page on their site, which I don’t recall seeing before. After Gadgetell commenter “Tony” claimed he got IMAP and Gmail to play friendly-like, I gave Gmail IMAP a try on my Windows Mobile 6 phone and whammo: it works. UPDATE: Blackjack users freak over Windows Mobile 6
I’ve just completed the install on Windows Mobile 6 for the original Samsung Blackjack from AT&T. The install directions are spot on and work well if followed to the letter. We’ve been waiting for this upgrade since it was rumored to release last September. Frankly, we’ve been on the verge of rioting, busting down AT&Ts doors to get at this after a ROM was leaked some time ago by AT&T. Better late than never.
The big upgrade highlights are WM 6, Office Mobile (left off WM 5), TeleNav 5.2. Here are all the fixes/upgrades/enhancements:
