Atari’s lineup at ComiCon

Atari announced today (July 24, 2007) two playable game demos for the upcoming San Diego Comic Con: Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for the Wii and PS2 and Godzilla: Unleashed for the Wii. Dragon Ball will be on hand at the FUNimation entertainment booth #4129, with Godzilla showing up at the Foundation 9 booth #4630. The San Diego Comic Con will run July 26-29, 2007, at the San Diego Convention Center.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is another installment in the popular fighting series. New details are slim, but Atari is boasting “exciting new features.” Online play on the Wii perhaps? That might be asking a bit much at this point.

Godzilla: Unleashed has been developed specifically for the Wii’s motion controls, featuring giant monster battling with plenty of destructible environments and classic beasties. The game engine has been rebuilt from the ground up from previous Godzilla titles, showcasing the hyperbolic “massively destructive 3d fighting system” and intense multiplayer modes.
