Marvel: War of Heroes releases for iOS and Android

After suffering a minor delay, Marvel: War of Heroes is now available as a free download for iOS and Android. This is a card combat game from Mobage that should play similarly to Rage of Bahamut. If you’ve never played that game or a similar title before, you may be in for a learning curve.

I tried playing Marvel: War of Heroes for about 20 minutes and am thoroughly confused. The tutorial didn’t really help me understand how everything worked. The interface is also pretty crowded, it lags and it’s lacking polish. I’m pretty sure the lag is not cause by my device because it has a 1.4Ghz quad-core processor.  Marvel: War of Heroes also does not support the Nexus 7, but that could very well change at some point.

I suppose I expected a lot more from this game. It doesn’t seem very friendly to new players. A lot of reviews in Google Play are littered with referral codes, so that’s a good sign that many players started off already knowing the ropes. I’ll give it another shot, but I’m not optimistic.
