Curiosity, the game that is really more of a social experiment, is now available for free on iOS and Android devices. Curiosity requires you to do nothing more than constantly tap on small cubes in an effort to remove all the layers of an even bigger cube. A mysterious secret lives within the center of the cube, but only one person will discover it.
Curiosity can barely be described as a game, but for some reason it makes performing a simple action very compelling. I think Curiosity directly taps into our compulsion to immediately see the effects of our actions on the entire world. It’s possible to carve out your own little spot on the cube and watch it grow as time goes on. As you can see in the photo, I carved my initials in an area where no one else has ever been. That’s something we don’t get to do very often in games.
At the time of this writing, Curiosity is having some server issues. 22Cans was not expecting the level of demand for its game. Rest assured, the coins you collected shouldn’t disappear forever.
