Call of Duty: Black Ops 2‘s livestreaming feature known as CODcasting has gotten a few more details this morning. Activision announced YouTube as the first in-game streaming partner for Black Ops 2. The streams can be viewed on the web, mobile devices and through the Call of Duty Elite app. Livestreaming will be available in League Play multiplayer games on the Xbox 360 and PS3. As previously reported, casters will be able to add a USB camera for picture-in-picture purposes, and will also have the option of adding commentary to matches. The requirements to begin a stream include a verified YouTube account, and a Call of Duty Elite registration. Activision also recently made the decision to provide Call of Duty Elite free of charge for Black Ops 2.
