Dell offering $20 gift cards with Halo 4 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II

Dell isn’t the first place you think of when you look for gaming deals, but today it should be. The company’s online store is offering pretty decent deals on two of the hottest games this holiday season, games that other stores aren’t discounting. So if you’d like to buy Halo 4 or Call of Duty: Black Ops II for yourself or someone you know and get money back, look to Dell.

Here’s how the deal works. Both Halo 4 (Xbox 360) and Call of Duty: Black Ops II (PS3, Xbox 360, Windows) cost $59.99 each normally. When purchased through Dell’s online store, you also get a Dell e-gift card code for $20 emailed to you that can be put towards a future purchase. So if you want,you can pretend the games are really only $39.99. The Halo 4 deal is available right now, but the Call of Duty: Black Ops II deal is in a preorder phase since that game doesn’t launch until November 13, 2012.

Dell hasn’t stated how long either game’s Dell gift card promotion will last. if you’re interested and think you will actually be doing some shopping at the site during Black Friday 2012, go ahead and take part now before the deal disappears. Dell’s online store does sell some other games and accessories, so odds are you’ll find a way to use it eventually.
