The Uncharted franchise is known for movie-like atmospheres, great dialogue and lots of shooting. On December 4, we’ll be able to experience Uncharted in a completely different way on the Vita. Uncharted: Fight for Fortune was made official today as a card combat game. It’ll be sold for $4.99 as a standalone title, but you’ll get bonuses if you own Uncharted: Golden Abyss

The structure of the game doesn’t seem too complicated. Each player has to build a deck that’s composed of Faction, Resource and Fortune cards. The Faction cards represent characters, while Resource and Fortune cards act as powerups. Once combat is initiated, attacks are either directed to individual cards, or at your opponent directly. It sort of sounds like Yu-Gi-Oh.

If you own Uncharted: Golden Abyss you’ll be able to use the artifacts you find in Fight for Fortune. PlayStation Plus members are getting Golden Abyss of free, so they can see this as a huge bonus.

Uncharted: Fight for Fortune will also include trophies, asynchronous multiplayer and DLC in the form of expansion packs inspired by Uncharted: Among Thieves and Uncharted: Drake’s Deception.
