If you’re tired of wires getting in the way of your gaming headset, the folks at Skullcandy have a solution for you. The company recently released the Skullcandy PLYR2 Wireless Gaming Headset that can be used for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Mac and mobile platforms. It sells for $129.95 in black, white and teal.

One of the headset’s best features is its pivoting boom mic. This allows you to instantly mute your voice simply by moving the microphone in the up position. It also comes with an equalizer that will alter the audio in either Bass Mode, Precision Mode or Supreme Mode. These modes will supposedly enhance the sound profiles of games, music and movies.

The PLYR2 also contains a rechargable lithium ion battery. It’s also protected by a one year warranty that will cover manufacturer defects. Even if you accidentally break the headset, you’ll still be given a 50% discount towards a new pair.
