Toys R Us has a buy one, get one 50% gaming deal until December 8

The latest Toys R Us ad is out for December 2-8, 2012 and it’s a pretty good one. Of course, that’s only to be expected with the holidays fast approaching. Stores are going to want to offer good sales and deals to attract shoppers. The biggest deal this week is a massive video game, video game accessory and video game guide promotion. If you buy one of the gaming-related items above, you can pick up a second for 50% off. This promotion applies to all games, including Wii U games and accessories.

There are also some deals for people who buy a new console or handheld. It seems like every major gaming system has one this week. If you buy a 3DS, 3DS XL or DSi, you get a $11.99 bobble head stylus for free. People who pick up a PS3 or Xbox 360 get an Air Flo wired controller that will work with their new system. New Vita owners get a $19.99 Starter Kit with their purchase. Finally, Wii owners get a $19.99 wireless Ultra Sensor Bar for free. The only system that doesn’t include a free accessory is the Wii U.

A Skylanders Giants promotion is also in effect. All figures, controllers, accessories, stuffed toys, cards and dog tags are also part of a buy one, get one 50% off promotion. The only Skylanders items that don’t factor into that promotion are the Skylanders Mega Bloks sets.

You may want to pick up the actual Toys R Us ad. The front cover has two Power Pass coupons on it. One is for $5, the other for $10. Apparently, they can be used on specially marked items in stores to provide a deeper discount. The ad doesn’t say if these can be used on any video games, but you may want to have them with you should you shop at Toys R Us this week.
