ZeptoLab is best known for its smash hit Cut the Rope. Cut the Rope has been downloaded more than 250 million times and has certainly made its creators a lot of money. On December 20, ZeptoLab will attempt to recreate its initial success with a new game called Pudding Monsters. Pudding Monsters will be released simultaneously for iOS and Android. A price hasn’t been made official, but ZeptoLab CEO Misha Lyalin told The Next Web it’ll likely be priced around $0.99. A free, limited version may become available eventually, but that may not happen at launch.
Much like its older brother, Pudding Monsters is a puzzle game. It involves groups of sentient puddings that are trying to save their friend from a person that has every right to grab food from their refrigerator. Each of the puddings has special abilities that haven’t been fully explained at this time. The puddings can also be combined to form a giant puddings that tower of cities.
It all sounds neat, but the information we have is just too vague at the moment. Even if we can’t find out more about this game before release, it’ll be worth the $0.99 to give it a try.
