The downside is, this deal doesn’t include either of the 3DS 2012 holiday bundles. The red 3DS with Super Mario 3D Land and the blue 3DS XL with Mario Kart 7 bundles are exempt. But, you could also think of this sale as giving you the opportunity to create your own bundle. The Super Mario 3D Land bundle was going for $169 during Black Friday 2012 and the Mario Kart 7 bundle is $199.99 now. Since 3DS games cost between $29.99 and $39.99, you can pretend you’re making your own bundle and getting the game for free.
Best Buy is also going to run a sale on select 3DS games next week. The promotion will be if you buy two select $39.99 Nintendo games, you’ll get $20 taken off the total price of both games. You’d end up getting two games for $59.98 instead of $79.98. Combine that with the sale above and you, or whoever you’re shopping for, is set.
There are the games that are part of that promotion.
Of the games above, Style Savvy Trendsetters and Mario Kart 7 are my favorites.
