The Spike Video Game Awards were on December 7, 2012. Did you catch them? Me either. Sadly, I was out doing other things. I mean, it is a Friday night. Fortunately, all of us who didn’t watch them live as they happened can catch up on Spike’s website with the 2012 VGA recap. All the winners have been collected there, so we get the satisfaction of knowing who won without sitting and watching the program. Spoilers – The Walking Dead killed.

Telltale Games really nailed it, coming home with five awards thanks to their work on The Walking Dead. Borderlands 2 was a close second with four awards, and Journey rounded up the top three with three. From there, the rest is pretty much what you’d expect.
