Who wants to be the most decadent Metal Gear fan ever? If you have ¥36,750 (~$447) to spare, you could work your way towards snagging that title. That, my friends, is the price of luxury. More specifically, it’s what you’d have to pay to get a Wired X Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance watch made by Seiko.

The Wired X Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance watch is a thing of beauty. It’s made to look like one that would be worn by characters in the game and comes with a a plate featuring art by Yoji Shinkawa. You can even tell just by looking at it how rare it is, as the back of the watch has a gold plate that says which one of the 1,000 available it is. Yes, only 1,000 of these watches will be made.

If you are a devoted enough fan to try and hunt one of these watches down, it’ll take some effort. They are only going to be sold through the Konami Style website. That means you’ll have to find a shopping service to order one for you. It’ll have to be a reliable one too. If you are fast and lucky enough to get one, it will be shipped out before or around February 21, 2013, to coincide with the game’s release.

If you’d rather show your love for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance by doing the normal thing and just pre-ordering the standard or limited edition of the game, just make sure you have your order in before February 19, 2012. That’s when it’s available in North America. The standard edition is $59.99, as usual, while the limited edition with plasma lamp and other goodies is $149.99.
