The last time we saw the Project Fiona tablet from Razer in person, it was protected under solid casing. Back then it was running Windows 7 on an Intel Core i7 processor. Since then, Razer upgraded the OS to Windows 8, and polled the community to find out what specs they wanted the tablet to have. The verdict is now in. Expect Project Fiona to cost somewhere between $1,299 and $1,499 when it releases.
I know that price is steep, but we have to remember Project Fiona isn’t just a gaming tablet. There’s a full Windows 8 PC living inside its body. Its specs include an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, a “mid-tier discrete GPU,” and removable controllers. Thanks to these specs, the weight and thickness of the tablet will be twice as heavy as the iPad.
There’s no set release date for Project Fiona yet.
