Normally I’m totally against $30 bundles like this but I think it’s 100% justified this time. The BioShock: Ultimate Rapture Edition is a good idea. Think about it – each BioShock game can be bought for about $9.99 used now. Buy the BioShock: Ultimate Rapture Edition and you get the games and a ton of DLC with it.
And these aren’t just silly DLC additions, like extra power-ups or equipment. Fine, the BioShock Plasmids Pack is. The other five DLC packs for BioShock and BioShock 2 aren’t though! The Challenge Rooms Pack is the BioShock PS3 exclusive collection of extra puzzle rooms that will now be on the Xbox 360. Plus the other four packs are the BioShock 2 Minerva’s Den, The Protector Trials, Rapture Metro and Sinclair Solutions Tester DLC.
For those who don’t really care about DLC, there’s one other BioShock: Ultimate Rapture Edition that may just tip the scales. Brace yourself, because this bundle also includes… BioShock Infinite stickers! You get a pack of stickers that, from what I hear, are pretty dark limited and rare. Don’t ask how limited they can be when everyone who buys the BioShock: Ultimate Rapture Edition gets them.
