PlayJam, the company behind the wildly successful GameStick Kickstarter campaign, announced a new accessory today called the GameStick Dock. The GameStick Dock will be sold alongside the GameStick, and is also available as reward to those who pledge $109 or more to the Kickstarter project.

The GameStick Dock has several functions. It has three USB ports, a SD card reader, a HDMI port, Ethernet port and something called the GameStick Active Power Slot. The Active Power Slot is an alternative way to charge the GameStick if you don’t want to directly plug it into your TV. All you’ll have to do is put the GameStick in the dock and plug the dock into the HDMI port on your television.

The USB ports can be used to attach peripherals such as keyboards and mice. The SD card slot can read cards up to 64GB. GameStick says the family of GameStick products will be able to store up to 104GB assuming the company reaches its $560,000 stretch goal to add a microSD card to the GameStick.

There are 13 days remaining in the GameStick Kickstarter. Over 4,000 people have pledged $417,363 so far. At this rate, PlayJam will reach all of its stretch goals before the campaign ends. The GameStick is expected to begin shipping this April.
