Adding new servers theoretically means the entire online experience in Path of Exile will be better for everyone. If you’ve ever suffered through lag, crashes or had to wait in a long queue before playing, you know just how welcome new servers are. A little over a week ago, Path of Exile suffered from frequent realm crashes due to the influx of players. And why wouldn’t it? Path of Exile is a free ARPG with good production values. This is the kind of game that spreads by word of mouth from its dedicated community. Right now, Path of Exile is the 11th most popular game on Twitch according to its viewer numbers. More people are watching it than Diablo III. Granted its popularity is certainly influenced by its still-new open beta status, but this game can easily get its hooks into you.
Once the maintenance is complete, go ahead and check it out for yourself if you haven’t already.
