It has been about two years since the Amazon Appstore for Android opened for business. In those two years, Amazon has given away a free app every single day. The amount of money it has given up because of that promotion must be absolutely staggering What’s less staggering (but awesome nonetheless), is the sale Amazon is throwing on a select number of Android games and general applications. The catch is you have to own a Kindle Fire in order to take advantage of most of the items for sale.

If games are what you’re after, there’s no way around the Kindle Fire requirement. On the plus side, there are some good titles available such as Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour for $0.99, The Amazing Spider-Man for $3.49 and Need for Speed Most Wanted for $2.49.

  • The Amazing Spider-Man – $3.49
  • Team Umizoomi Math: Zoom into Numbers – $1.99
  • Scrabble – $1.49
  • Angry Birds Star Wars Premium HD – $0.99
  • Angry Birds Space HD – $0.99
  • The Game of Life – $2.49
  • Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour – $0.99
  • The Dark Knight Rises – $3.49
  • Need for Speed Most Wanted – $2.49
