Aksys continues to astound. The company is known for putting together enviable collector’s editions, and the bundle for Muramasa Rebirth doesn’t disappoint. In fact, it has a big name to go with such a packed edition. If you want to pre-order it, prepare to ask for the Muramasa Rebirth Blessing of Amitabha Collector’s Edition.

The Muramasa Rebirth collector’s edition is about giving people a way to show everyone they meet how much they love the game. Three of the four bonuses will show anyone who sees your Vita that Vanillaware is tops. You get a Hori Muramasa Rebirth skin for your Vita, as well as a matching Vita face cover. When you aren’t playing with your system, you can tuck it safely away in a velvet pouch.

In fact, the only bonus that isn’t a Vita accessory is a Muramasa Rebirth lithograph from Vanillaware. The image hasn’t been revealed, but apparently it will be a new, high res image. It’ll probably be something nice you can frame, if you’d like.

If you want the Muramasa Rebirth Blessing of Amitabha Collector’s Edition, pre-order now. Aksys has said that it will be very limited. It isn’t numbered, so we won’t know how limited, but this is a company that doesn’t play around. If they say there aren’t many, there really aren’t many. Go ahead and place an order on Amazon to guarantee your copy. It will cost you $59.99. If you don’t, you’ll probably have to settle for the $39.99 standard edition when the game is released on June 25, 2013. Supposedly, both games have some kind of pre-order bonus from Amazon, though the product listings don’t reveal what the extra incentive will be. I’m wondering if it could be one of the DLC chapters for free. The game does have four new characters and stories, after all.
