You know, a while back I said that Europe getting better PlayStation Plus freebies was really no big deal. After today’s announcement, I may have to change that stance. The June 2013 PlayStation Plus offerings for European gamers have just been announced and their greatness will make your stomach turn. You’re going to see these awesome free games and wish they were yours.

It isn’t the inclusion of Demon’s Souls that leaves me perturbed. That’s fine. It was already part of the US PlayStation Plus lineup back in April 2013. No, it’s three other games that get me. I mean, I already own two of these three freebies, and I’m still jealous.

See, next month European PlayStation Plus members get Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection and the Vita version of Rayman Origins free. What the hell Sony?

Yes, I have Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, but I’m more upset for the other, North American PlayStation Plus members. Both of these games are absolutely fantastic. ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection is a classic and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning surprised me with how pretty and fun it was. More people should be playing both games.

Not to mention Rayman Origins is quite lovely. I borrowed the PS3 version from my local library, but I’d love to be able to actually kinda-sorta own it through PlayStation Plus. I can’t imagine a better game to enjoy on the go.

It’s just amazing that Sony can get these kinds of free games for PlayStation Plus members.

Sony hasn’t yet announced the June 2013 PlayStation Plus games for North America. Hopefully, at least one of these three games will be free for us too. I mean, E3 2013 is coming up, and making ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection free would be an awfully nice way to celebrate the event and show appreciation for people who subscribe.
