Brace yourself people, because this week and next the onslaught will begin. You know what I mean. E3 game line-ups will come pouring in and one of the first this year is from Aksys Games. You know, the company that handles the BlazBlue and Zero Escape series. They’re also taking charge of the US otome (girl’s dating sim) situation and bringing us Muramasa Rebirth. Yeah, those people will be at E3 this year!

Most of Aksys’ stuff is, surprisingly, a mystery. The two “known” titles are Muramasa Rebirth for the Vita, which is the remake of the Wii game, and A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda EX, an XBLA action game. The surprises are mostly mysteries. The one is definitely a mobile game, one of Aksys’ first, and the other two won’t be revealed until E3 2013 begins.

People who don’t have appointments will have two opportunities to visit Aksys in room 6604 at E3 2013. The first is on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 3-6pm. The second is on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 3-6pm. People who visit will get some freebies, but swag is going to be limited so visit the Concourse Hall room early if you want to play the games and get a memento.

I know they aren’t the kinds of games that would really lend themselves well to E3 appearances, but I was really hoping Sweet Fuse (PSP) and Hakuoki (3DS) would have been at the show. Still, I’m excited about what’s to come, especially since Aksys is known for picking up awesome Japanese games.

Keep your fingers crossed and wait for E3! I’m definitely meeting with Aksys there and I’ll give you firsthand impressions of every single game they have to show!
