Have you been dying for Rune Factory 4, itching to grab it the second it drops on that alleged August 13, 2013 release date? Stop scratching. It’s not coming out on that day. XSEED never confirmed that release date, even though stores and Gamefaqs were claiming that’s when it’d show up. Don’t worry though, you won’t be waiting too much longer.
As XSEED explained via its Facebook page, the problem with Rune Factory 4 is that it’s justa huge game. All Rune Factory titles are. When a game has that kind of depth, it takes longer for translating and double checking. Specifically, XSEED said it needs more time in quality assurance testing, to make sure every bug is out and it’s ready.
An official release date hasn’t been announced for Rune Factory 4, but we do have a release window. It will be out either at the end of September, or beginning of October. It all depends on how long it takes to make sure the game is perfect. Which means probably about a month more to wait. We can live with that.
The only real downside is, now Rune Factory 4 will be up against a horde of other, awesome games. After all, fall is always packed with releases, as companies hope to try and get people’s attention before the holiday shopping season starts. Make sure you put some money aside for this gem.
