It’s time to play through the second half of the Straw Hat Pirates’ story. One Piece: Pirate Warriors told us the first part of Monkey D. Luffy’s story, and One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is picking up with the second half on September 3, 2013. Get ready for a time-skip, because this story fast forwards two years into the One Piece future on September 3, 2013.

Like the original, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is a Dynasty Warriors style game, which means players control one character as he or she fights against hordes or enemies. The sequel allows for more enemies on the field and on missions than the previous installment. It also allows people to go into Haki Mode, switching to a support character to temporarily fight off enemies as someone else. It also makes it easier to play as more of your favorite characters, as coins can be collected during play and used to level up the people players haven’t used as often. That way, you don’t have to level grind to ensure the entire crew is at a level where they can tackle certain challenges.

Ready for a trailer? Let’s see a One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 trailer. You can see all of the post-time-skip characters and get an idea of what the fights will be like in the sequel. You’ll even be able to see some of the new playable characters, like Smoker and Crocodile.

That’s the European trailer, by the way, so don’t get too excited about that physical collector’s edition can trip to Japan contest. I just figured I’d go ahead and share that one with you, since it’s the most recent. The last North American trailer for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 is from June 11, 2013.

One last thing. If you want One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, prepare to make hard drive space. This $49.99 game is a PlayStation Store exclusive. The original One Piece: Pirate Warriors was 10.8GB, and I’m sure the sequel will be at least that big. Honestly, it’ll probably be even bigger, since there are more characters, more story and, of course, more voice acting. I’d say, make sure you have at least 12GB of space saved for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, just to be safe.
