disney infinity deals
Morning everyone! (Hey, it’s before noon, so it still counts!) Disney Infinity comes out tomorrow, on August 18, 2013, and I’m sure a lot of you are eying up that new game, either because the nostalgia-fan in you wants it, or you’ve got some kids you know that have been begging you to get it. I suppose a third option is, you “claim” your kids want it, and you’re going to buy it for them, but really its for you. The thing is, Disney Infinity is pricey. A starter pack is $74.99, figure playsets can run between $29.99-$34.99, and single figures are $12.99-$13.99 each, depending on where you shop. You need some Disney Infinity deals. Fortunately, a number of stores have some available.

The Best Buy, Kmart and Target ads are out for August 18-24, 2013, and each one has Disney Infinity deals. I’m going to list each one, and sum up the best way to save money at the end. The Toys R Us ad hasn’t been released yet, but I’ll add its information once it has been.

Best Buy

Best Buy has a general Disney Infinity deal that gives a power disc capsule or album carrier, normally $9.99 each, to anyone who buys a $74.99 Disney Infinity 3DS, PS3, Wii, Wii U or Xbox 360 starter kit. As far as other Disney Infinity items, Best Buy appears to be more expensive overall. While Target, Amazon and Kmart are charging $12.99 per single figure and $4.99 per power disc pack, Best Buy is charging $13.99 and $5.99.

Kmart

Kmart’s big Disney Infinity deal is offering a buy one, get one 50% off promotion on all single figures. A lone figure there is $12.99. That means if you buy two Disney Infinity single figures, you’ll pay $19.49, instead of $25.98.

Target

As I reach the Target deals, I’m starting to wonder if all the major stores conspired when putting together their Disney Infinity deals, since each one has a different offer. Here, the normally $34.99 Cars or Lone Ranger playsets, which include two figures, are $17.49. Target also is offering 25% off general Disney Infinity accessories that aren’t the game, figures or power discs, so you could get a case for a little bit less than usual if you wanted. I say, don’t bother with that though.

Toys R Us

Toys R Us has two Disney Infinity deals. First, there’s an online and in-store coupon that will net you 20% off of any one item, which includes the $74.99 starter set. That would make a starter kit $60. Also, the store has the same single character promotion as Kmart, allowing you to buy one, get one for 50% off.

Your best Disney Infinity deals summary.

Go to Toys R Us and grab the $74.99 Disney Infinity starter pack for the system of your choice for 20% off with the coupon, making it $60. Then, head to Target to grab the Cars or Lone Ranger pack for half off. Finally, after you’ve played the game once or twice and decided if you need more figures, head to Toys R Us or Kmart before the sales end, grabbing two single figures you like. You should spend between $80-100, but will have absolutely everything you need to enjoy the game, and shouldn’t have to purchase any other figures. If you decide you need some power discs, grab one pack from Toys R Us, Target or Kmart.
