EA held its gamescom press conference from Germany today and shared some more details about Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. First off, Garden Warfare will arrive on Xbox One before moving on to other platforms. Secondly, Xbox One will be getting a special gameplay mode called Bossmode that takes advantage of Kinect’s gesture controls. There will also be support for SmartGlass as well.
In Bossmode, we’ll be able to play as either Dr. Zomboss or Crazy Dave. This mode is a new way to play the game by letting you impact the flow of battle from afar. By using Kinect or SmartGlass, you can send in supply drops to help your allies, and control your team.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is coming out in spring 2014 for $39.99. Pre-orders are already live.
